Christmas Message from The Loft Theatre

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

What a year it has been for us all. We were thrilled to reopen the theatre in July and to stage four main house productions, which received such outstanding artistic success. These were all ambitious and mostly large-scale productions and required courage and determination to stage.

Reopening a theatre during a pandemic on this scale is not for the fainthearted, but we did it and you came with confidence to be part of our audience. Enormous thanks for your vital support.

My heartfelt thanks to the entire Loft Theatre Company for all of your kindness, courage and commitment and for bringing your talents to bear to make theatre alive on stage for us all to relish.

It is good to be back and we are now preparing for the year ahead – our Centenary year – a brilliant milestone in the history of this theatre.

Have a restful and joyful Christmas with your friends and family and we look forward to welcoming you all in the new year to celebrate with us. Can’t wait!
