Our re-opening production: an update

As Leamington heads towards Tier 3 after the national lockdown ends on Wednesday, we are sorry to report that once again we are having to postpone our reopening production, Alan Bennett’s wonderful ‘The Wind in the Willows’.

Under Tier 3, we are unable to continueWind in the Willows Coming Soon rehearsals – and so we will be unable to reopen as planned in January. As you know, originally we were on track to open in December. Safety, however, is our number one concern and so we will wait patiently until the restrictions are lifted again.

Consequently our booking system, which was due to open on 1st December, will remain closed. We hope to bring you new dates as soon as possible. ‘The Wind in the Willows’ will remain our reopening production. We have a series of excellent productions lined up to follow on in 2021.

If you haven’t already taken a look, we have compiled some questions and answers so that you can know what to expect when you buy tickets for a Loft Theatre production, and what you will be asked to do to help ensure everyone’s continued safety. We were very proud to be ‘See it Safely’ accredited following a summer and autumn of very hard work by the team behind the scenes to ensure The Loft is as Covid-secure as possible.

We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we are able to. In the meantime, we wish you a very happy, healthy and safe December.
