“An unexpected delight: A handsome, tasteful, snazzily staged outpouring of song and dance that celebrates all the virtues of the Kander-Ebb catalogue” New York Times
The World Goes ‘Round is a brilliantly constructed revue of the songbook from the multi-Tony award-winning team of musical theatre collaborators Kander and Ebb, with the original production winning three Drama Desk Awards. The revue takes its title from a tune the songwriting team wrote for Liza Minnelli to sing in the film New York, New York.
Filled with humour, romance, drama and nonstop melody from Cabaret to Chicago, the 5 strong cast and live orchestra feature unforgettable gems, including “Maybe This Time,” “Cabaret” and “New York, New York,” seamlessly interwoven into a passionate evening of musical theatre.
This non-professional production is presented by Music Theatre International. All authorised performances materials are also supplied by MTI.
