VOLUNTEERING
We are principally a volunteer led theatre company and rely on a big team throughout the year to produce our shows.
Every area of the theatre, front of house, on stage and back stage are keen to welcome volunteers to support them.
There are so many options and even if you can volunteer only one evening every few weeks, we should be so grateful for your help.
Many roles within the theatre do not require any detailed training, but we shall always provide you with full support and training for those that do.

For information about particular departments actively needing new volunteers please visit our VACANCIES page. We will send you more information about the various departments, and likely commitments. Many of our volunteers enjoy it so much that they work in more than one area.

We have six key teams that help run the theatre throughout the year, each made up of anywhere between 5 – 50 volunteers.

Work experience
The Loft Theatre is a non-professional organisation and does not have the ability to offer work experience placements.
