RECRUITING VOLUNTEER ASSISTANTS FOR LOFT YOUTH THEATRE ENSEMBLE
An invitation to join our creative community
The Loft Theatre in Leamington Spa is launching a brand new enterprise for budding young creatives due to commence in September 2025. Two Masters graduates, Laura Hayward-Smith and Dan Walsh will be leading this new Youth Ensemble.
The Loft Youth Ensemble will offer 7 – 17 yr olds the opportunity to participate in weekly workshops with industry professionals. They will be given the chance to explore theatre and performance in all capacities, including; working as an ensemble, devising, voice, movement, playing with text as well as other backstage crafts such as lighting, tech, costume and props.
Our aim is to create a hugely vibrant and nurturing space at the Loft Studio every Saturday morning to enrich youngsters’ experience of theatre arts, gain confidence on and off stage, celebrate individual and collective creativity, ignite young imaginations, play, laugh and make friends.
