Originally commissioned and premiered at the Belgrade Theatre Coventry in 2001, Fantastic Mr. Fox adapted by David Wood is a faithful retelling of Roald Dahl’s classic tale, where the cunning and clever Mr. Fox outwits three greedy, mean farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean to feed his starving family and friends.

David Wood, widely celebrated and acknowledged as the country’s leading children’s playwright, brings the book to fertile life, using an adult cast, appealing storylines and simple yet imaginative language to capture the charm, dark humour and heart of the original 1970 book. Designed for family audiences, with dynamic, interactive theatre that hooks young audiences right from the start.
